CLUB COURSES
LGRAW has several marked courses that start from the clubhouse. Going west you can reach both Lake View and Meadowmere Parks. Heading east you can pass the back of the Gaylord Texan. Turn around at any point on a loop for the mileage you need.
On the west course loops, club volunteers on Saturday and Sunday mornings drop off water and Gatorade at 2 water stops. The 1st water stop is approximately 1.3 miles from the LGRAW clubhouse at the north end entrance of Horseshoe Trail. The 2nd water stop is at the 2.75-mile mark at the end of Snakey Ln on Horseshoe Trail.
On the east course loop, there are several water fountains and restrooms available along the course. This course is marked on the road with yellow mile distance markers at every mile interval.
WEST 8-MILE LOOP
to LAKE VIEW PARK
This west loop course is 4-miles out and 4-miles back (8-miles total). It runs along the wooded asphalt Horseshoe Trail.
Enjoy the newly repaved asphalt Snakey Ln. or the parallel park trail to LGRAW's 2nd water stop located just short where Snakey Ln and W. Kimball Rd cross.
Turn left on Kimball then right Lakeview Dr. until the turnaround in Lakeview Park.
WEST 9-MILE LOOP to
MEADOWMERE PARK
This west loop course is 4.5 miles out and 4.5-miles back (9-miles total).
It runs along the wooded asphalt Horseshoe Trail then along Snakey Ln to the LGRAW 2nd water stop.
At the 2nd water stop, go through the yellow fenced area (directly across from the water stop - tiny bit before Kimball) then using the sidewalk head straight on Kimball to the park (cross Kimball at the new crosswalk around a 1/2 mile from the 2nd water stop).
At that point you’ll be on the same side of the road as the park entrance on Kimball Rd till the turnaround in Meadowmere Park.
EAST LOOP OUT
to GAYLORD TEXAN
The east loop is a 6-mile out and back (12-mile total). It runs past soccer fields, baseball fields, Scott’s Landing Marina, Acorn Woods, and Cross Timbers Winery. You’ll enter Katie’s Woods Park. Pass the backside of Gaylord Texans, before turning around at the 6-mile mark near St. Francis Catholic Church.
