Community Envolment
Throughout the years, LGRAW has remained committed to giving back to the community through a variety of philanthropic efforts. We partner with local organizations that share our values and mission, providing support through volunteer service, financial contributions, and active participation in meaningful initiatives.
KEEP GRAPEVINE BEAUTIFUL
One of the most important things that keeps LGRAW so special are the beautiful running paths along Lake Grapevine. LGRAW helps keep these trails clean through our Adopt-A-Park commitment and partnering with Keep Grapevine Beautiful (KGVB).
KGVB hosts two major park and trail cleanups each year—one in the spring and one in the fall. During these events, volunteers collect trash and litter while also taking part in beautification projects throughout the community. By participating in these cleanups, we help ensure a safe, clean, and scenic environment for everyone to enjoy.
DALLAS MARATHON AID STATION
Being a running club in a large metropolitan area provides many opportunities to help at local races. For 25+ years, LGRAW has been "giving back" to the community by volunteering annually at the Dallas Marathon. Volunteering at the LGRAW aid station is a fun and rewarding way to support our sport and fellow runners.
