INCLEMENT WEATHER WARNING:

LGRAW closely monitors the forecast for severe weather conditions. In the event of a cancellation, for any reason, we are not able to offer refunds.

Course Description & Timing:

The Bold in the Cold race course winds through the trails around Lake Grapevine and the residential portions of the City of Grapevine. Both courses will be well marked on race day. Aid stations will have both water and Gatorade on the course. 2019 courses are not USATF certified.

Please pay close attention to the correct starting line for your race. At the 8am start time, the 15K will proceed east and the 5k will proceed west.  It is the participant’s responsibility to start in the correct corral.

Due to volunteer considerations, the 15K will need to be completed within 3 hours - this is just over 19 minutes per mile.  If participants are not on pace to complete in time, there will be a cut off/turn around where chips will be collected, but participants will be able to complete a shortened course and collect the finishers items.

For runner safety, no dogs are allowed on the race course. Strollers  will be allowed in the 5k only, but are asked to start at the rear of the corral. The use of personal music devices is discouraged at this race.

Course Maps:

Detailed course maps with be available soon.  Both courses include park roads and lake views along flat or rolling gentle hills.  The race will start and finish near Trawick pavilion.
